Summary: portable gas pump
Comment: this is exactly what i was looking for. after recent storm damage i needed a supply of gas for my generator and this product made the refilling easier, cleaner and safe. plus the added advantage of not needing 7-8 gas cans to do the job.

Comment: I purchased my Moeller DuraMax Flo n'go LE Fluid Transfer Pump and 14-Gallon Rolling Gas Can back in August of 2006. Back then, the manufacturer was Scepter. It is part of my "fuel strategy" of a six-month rotation of approx. 50 gallons of gas between my S-10 pickup, this Flo n'go and three 5 gallon NATO cans. Every three months the fuel in the Flo n'go goes into the S-10, the fuel in the NATO cans goes into the Flo n'go, and the NATO cans take a trip to the gas station for fill ups. Stabil is used to keep the fuel from getting funky. (Of course, in between that procedure, the S-10 gets fueled up as needed at the gas station.) I devised this scheme because Phoenix, AZ (the fifth largest city in the USA) gets its petrol via two dinky pipelines, one each from California and Texas. Even the slightest problem with either can evoke a 70's era embargo panic - and that has happened. Now I can go two to three weeks without the need for a gas station hopefully giving the pipe line operators enough time to fix things.

Putting the Flo n'go in the bed of the S-10 allows for the fuel to siphon quite well. I use a Velcro strip to hold the pump lever open while keeping a close eye on things. I have not timed how long it takes to drain out; suffice to say it feels like "forever." On the plus side, it does give me enough time to catch up on some garage cleaning/organizing!

For topping my sport bike when I want to head way out of town non-stop from my driveway, the pump handle is very nice.

My experience with this product mirrors that of other reviewers, good and bad.

At least one gallon remains in the can even if you tilt it forward somewhat and it's too bulky to pick it up and shake it around to try and get the last of the fuel out.

The wheels have seized up and now act as skids, which is OK, but really... it's the 21st Century and they can't get wheels right?

The hose kinks easily and is difficult to un-kink. However, it's just sturdy enough to make it almost impossible to coil and store on the hanger regardless of those nice studio shots.

The handle/nozzle pump is delicate and requires a learning curve to keep from squirting all over the place. Make sure the nozzle is fully inserted into whatever gets the fuel before even slightly squeezing the pump lever! And it does dribble quite a bit.

I won't go into the manufacturer's "hose draining instructions" but it's laughable and a real pain. I don't do it.

In the interest of scientific research, I've counted 50-52 squeezes of the pump lever to output one gallon of fuel.

I have not yet experienced any issues with either of the two valves.

While the can has a "full" level line molded on the outside, the plastic is too thick to see the fuel inside without looking into the filler hole. In the recommended horizontal position, the fuel's surface area is almost 4 square feet and gauging the level rise is difficult. A messy and dangerous overflow is inevitable if you're not very, very slow and careful toward the end. It is better to under fill some than try to max it full up.

Since my Flo n'go spends most of its time parked in a corner, I haven't actually put it to all that much use; probably a dozen times. Though it does work well within my once-every-three-months duty cycle, I cannot imagine this unit being adequate for anything more, or slightly more, than that. If you need reliable, fast and tidy fuel storage/transfer equipment, you'd be better off to spend some more money. For my requirements, the price was OK.

Summary: what a waste of money!!!!!!!!
Comment: I am surprised Amazon even allows this product to be sold. It is the worst designed gas container!!!!!! The one thing they don't mention, is that you have to squeeze the handle and pump to get the gas out. This can get very tiring after 2 gallons. The handle leaks, when you rest it as the picture shows. I just threw $100.00 away, don't make the same mistake. spend a few more dollars and get a gravity fed. or one that has a hand crank

Summary: Save your money
Comment: I have owned this product for a month. It is not worth a dime. It is cheaply made. The fuel handle leaks gas. You cannot get the last 2 to 3 gallons out of it.
